Role Overview

As the Senior Manager of Quality & Hygiene, you will lead all Quality and Hygiene processes at the Bowling Green plant, including overseeing the Quality Control Laboratory. In this vital role, you will work directly with cross-functional teams to support internal and regulatory audits, implement short- and long-term quality strategies, and integrate ISO certification practices at the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and drive site-specific goals for Quality and Hygiene systems, aligning with global quality standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for external audits from customers and regulatory bodies, developing action plans as needed to address findings.
• Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, zero defects, and compliance in large-scale environments.
• Oversee strategic changes for continuous improvement and provide guidance on industry best practices in Quality.
• Design and improve facility standards in Quality and Hygiene while implementing ISO and other regulatory frameworks.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Quality, connecting with the company’s broader Quality network to enhance facility standards.
• Drive site-specific projects, utilizing problem-solving skills like root-cause analysis and process mapping to achieve a sustained quality culture.
• Develop and manage the internal audit program, ensuring facility-wide improvements.
• Oversee the development of IT and digital tools related to quality metrics, emphasizing continuous monitoring of quality performance indicators.
• Implement proper change management and qualification protocols for all project innovations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience: 10+ years in Quality or Hygiene, including Quality/Hygiene management at the site level
• Technical Skills: Proven capabilities in Project Management, Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Control (SQC), MSA, SAP
• Certifications: Quality certifications are highly desirable
• Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, ability to manage both conflict and change effectively. Proficiency in SAP data structures, Quality Business Intelligence (BI), and IT-driven Quality control systems is strongly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to work under shifting priorities and complex challenges
