Role SummaryThe Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering operations within a facility dedicated to advanced manufacturing and the development of high-quality products. This position focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing effective strategies for cost and quality improvement, and supporting a high-performance team culture in alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering professional growth and team alignment
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and adherence to project timelines
  • Collaborate with departments such as Quality Assurance, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure cohesive operations
  • Manage budgets for manufacturing projects, optimizing costs and ensuring strategic alignment
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations and standards
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, supporting continuous improvement efforts
  • Identify new technologies and equipment that enhance reliability and process efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of process engineering experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical personnel, balance priorities, and achieve performance goals
  • Lean manufacturing expertise required, with knowledge of ISO9001 and/or IATF16949 standards highly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and SAP or similar MRP systems
