Position: Director, Women's ServicesLocation: Mayfield, KY

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Women's Services to lead and manage the Women's Services department. This role is critical in ensuring that departmental objectives are met through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and effective resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goal Implementation: Establish and execute departmental goals, plans, and standards, ensuring alignment with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technology integration, service level assessments, and the resolution of complaints to maintain high-performance standards and quality control.
  • Staff Management: Direct all staffing activities, from hiring and orientation to evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education, to ensure a competent and motivated team.
  • Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and assess departmental budgets, ensuring that all operations remain within allocated funding and comply with financial guidelines.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead and manage both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
  • Professional Development: Create and nurture an environment that promotes professional growth and development among staff, incorporating evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.
  • Resource Expertise: Serve as an expert resource for staff on obstetrical and neonatal concerns, providing guidance and support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An Associate’s Degree is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Kentucky.
  • Certification: AWHON Certification is mandatory, along with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
  • Skills: The position demands strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
