A leading Manhattan-based IT consulting firm serving small to mid-sized businesses is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background and a passion for client engagement, strategy, and IT solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor by consulting clients on IT best practices.
Develop technical solutions that align with client goals and business strategies.
Prepare technical planning and budgeting documentation.
Draft and manage Statements of Work (SOW) and client-facing quotes.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues within client accounts.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships through proactive and consistent communication.
Assist in aligning clients' IT infrastructure with their overall business objectives.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in technical support (desktop, server, networking).
3–5 years in a client-facing technical consulting role.
Proven ability to design and present technical recommendations and proposals.
Solid understanding of how IT services support business operations and strategic goals.
Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Experience in technical documentation, reporting, and environment analysis.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in documentation and client reporting.
Highly professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to conduct effective client meetings and manage project follow-up.
