This is a direct labor position responsible for assembling electrical components used in the operation of volumetric concrete mixers. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read schematics, and comfort working with both hand tools and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Duties: Including but not limited to:
  • Assemble control boxes, looms, and electrical panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues before components are installed.
  • Prepare enclosures for installation.
  • Use hand tools to work with small components, requiring manual dexterity.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Vocational training or equivalent experience in electrical wiring.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical components (ID EL).
  • Understanding of safe wiring practices.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience using power tools (drills, jigsaws, knockout punches).
  • Proficient in using hand tools and tape measures.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.

  • Must be comfortable working up to 15 feet off the ground, inside bins, and climbing ladders.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
