Key Responsibilities:

Own internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal standards
Drive the financial statement consolidation process across multiple entities
Partner with key stakeholders to prepare disclosures and supporting documentation
Maintain financial reporting policies and strengthen internal control frameworks
Prepare key journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close
Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and public company benchmarks
Support auditors and respond to audit-related inquiries
Assist with cross-functional initiatives, including technical accounting projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA strongly preferred
Public accounting experience, with Big 4 background a plus
Prior experience in a financial reporting role; oil & gas industry experience preferred
Proficiency in GAAP and financial disclosure requirements
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, Sumifs, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels
