As a leading supplier of high-quality flooring materials, offering a wide range of options for residential and commercial needs, our showroom isfocused on providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance to help clients choose the perfect flooring solutions.  We are actively hiring for a Sales/ Design Consultant who would be based in the showroom but able to go to customers home/ business for mearsuring and sales consulting. Key Responsibilities:● Greet customers and assist them in selecting flooring materials tailored to their needs.● We work with a variety of flooring (carpet, hardwood, title, laminate, lvt, etc)● Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom display.● Process orders and handle payments, including cash and credit transactions.● Manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and ordering of products when necessary.● Provide detailed information about the features and benefits of various flooring types.● Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.● Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.● Stay updated on industry trends and new products.Qualifications:● High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or sales is a plus.● Experience in retail sales, preferably in flooring or home improvement.● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.● Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and payments.● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.● Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office.Compensation Package:● Competitive hourly pay with commission structure.● Paid time off and holidays, 401k (after 90 days), health benefits after 90 days, life insurance, bereavement leave, monthly health contribution, dental/vision options and much more. ● Employee discounts on flooring products.● Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
