The company is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Technician for their Chatham, NY location to ensure high-quality and efficient maintenance for manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform proactive maintenance tasks such as FMEA’s, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), and Analytical Troubleshooting (ATS) to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment in line with OEM specifications.

  • Install, maintain, and repair utility and facility-related equipment as required by the plant.

  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve equipment issues that impact safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Assist in training other maintenance staff on preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs.

  • Participate in proactive maintenance activities aimed at eliminating equipment failures.

  • Perform precision installation of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment or military background.

  • Skilled in maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.

  • Familiarity with lubrication principles and their proper application to equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial motor controls.

  • Comfortable working with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Willingness to work independently and manage tasks during off-shift positions, including overtime and weekends.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with precision welding and operation of shop tools (lathes, drills, milling machines, etc.).

  • Ability to develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs.

  • Experience with AC and DC drive/motor installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
