Our Award-Winning Client, a well-regarded healthcare institution, operates nationally and is committed to providing exceptional care while fostering a community-oriented environment. The organization is seeking a Quality Director to oversee risk management and patient safety activities at their facility in Roxboro, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the organization’s risk management operations, including claims investigation and coordination with legal counsel.

• Develop and execute risk management educational programs to minimize organizational losses and protect assets.

• Ensure compliance with JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals and patient safety standards.

• Implement and continually enhance the Corporate Compliance Program by conducting audits, monitoring, and providing training.

• Serve as the facility’s Patient Safety Officer, fostering a safe environment for both patients and staff.

• Chair the ethics committee, ensuring alignment with ethical guidelines and standards.

• Oversee departmental operations, including patient care, service level assessments, and complaint management.

• Manage departmental budgets and staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

• Foster a culture of professional development within the department, encouraging continuous growth and improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Current NC Nursing License or Multistate Nursing License.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare risk management, claims investigation/management.

• Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Proven ability to build effective relationships with hospital management, staff, and physicians.

• Knowledge and experience in healthcare standards such as OSHA and JCAHO.

Desired Qualifications:

• Management/Supervisory experience.

• Minimum of 3 years' related experience. Medical and/or Pharmaceutical Sales experience is preferred.
