Mobile X-Ray Technologist
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services to healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and hospitals, across the Baltimore area. This position offers a dynamic work environment, utilizing portable radiography equipment to perform X-Rays and EKGs, ensuring quality patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent imaging for physician review.
- Conduct EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
Operational Duties:
- Unload, transport, and set up portable X-Ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of the vehicle and portable radiology equipment.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management regarding daily assignments.
- Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients to ensure a seamless service experience.
Schedule and Shift Details:

Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Rotating on-call weekends required.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:

1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
-
Meditech RAD – Radiology, Mammography, or Radiology

Echocardiogram (Echo), Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG), or Echocardiography
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License (DL) with a clean driving record.
Vaccination Requirement:
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
