Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the aerospace, aviation, and defense industry, is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Specialist to join their team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This onsite, in-plant position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-security environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare for and participate in security assessments and audits.
  • Configure operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX to meet regulatory requirements, including NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, NIST standards, and CCRI guidelines.
  • Develop documentation for system authorization in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other regulatory standards.
  • Maintain security databases and platforms, such as SIMS and eMASS.
  • Perform network architecture tasks, including layer 3 to layer 7 switching, IP address schemes, and EWAN configurations.
  • Configure VMWARE NSX setups with micro-segmentation and establish VoIP/VTC systems using Cisco Unified Call Manager.
  • Conduct vulnerability and compliance assessments to evaluate system and network risk posture.
  • Review electronic and manual audit logs to investigate anomalies or security incidents.
  • Assist in security investigations, incident response, and develop training materials for security policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed of evolving security requirements and coordinate with ISSM and FSO to maintain compliance.
  • Respond to and resolve security issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance post-hire.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with RMF as ISSM or ISSO.
  • Familiarity with NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, and ICD standards.
  • Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, CISSP, or RHCSA.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Information Security and Cyber Intelligence.
  • 8570\8140 IAM Level 1, or higher, compliant certification (e.g., Security+).
  • Current and active Top Secret clearance with polygraph is highly desirable.
