Our Award-Winning Client, recognized nationally for their excellence in healthcare, is looking to add two Radiation Therapists to their esteemed team. The successful candidates will be integral members of the oncology department, playing a critical role in providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment with precision to treat cancer and other conditions requiring therapeutic radiation.

• Perform simulation procedures and fabricate treatment devices in preparation for therapy.

• Ensure radiation safety standards are adhered to and conduct daily QA checks on linear accelerators and CT simulators.

• Utilize the hospital’s EMR system to log patient treatment, document positioning, and manage scheduling for procedures.

• Foster clear communication with the medical team regarding patient progress and treatment updates.

• Be available for on-call rotations, ensuring continuity of patient care.

• Work independently as well as collaboratively to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of radiation therapy.

• Provide patient education, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and reduce anxiety.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy program.

• Must hold certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and be licensed in New Mexico or eligible for licensure.

• CPR certification is mandatory.

• 3-5 years of experience preferred.

• Proficient in managing radiation sources and adhering to safety protocols.

• Thorough understanding of radiation therapy equipment operations and methods.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to put patients at ease.
