Join our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in manufacturing solutions, known for its innovative approach and multiple accolades across the U.S. This is a unique opportunity to lead Graphic Technical Operations on a regional scale, ensuring performance alignment with contractual obligations and strengthening relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
This leadership role oversees Graphic Technical Operations across a defined region, managing personnel, maintaining quality standards, and supporting strategic alignment with commercial goals. The Manager plays a critical role in driving regional performance, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing staff effectiveness, and improving customer satisfaction. Travel to regional Graphic Technical Centers (GTCs) is expected as needed.
Define and communicate job expectations for Graphic Technicians by location, including training, performance reviews, and P Log program implementation.
Monitor staff levels to meet contractual obligations, coordinate with HR and Directors on coaching and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Champion continuous improvement through SOP development, technical training (including xRite, equipment calibrations, press troubleshooting, and downtime logging).
Track and review Customer KPIs by site, identify gaps, and implement improvement plans.
Lead safety initiatives, reinforcing a strong HSE culture through training, engagement, and proactive risk identification.
Coordinate emergency or urgent coverage needs across the region to ensure minimal disruption.
Act as a liaison with the commercial team to align GTC performance with customer contracts.
Support customer trials, product complaint resolutions, and service-related downtime through the Technical Service Team.
Provide training and operational support related to SAP, Web Shop, and non-inventory purchasing workflows.
Guide teams in implementing efficient return/obsolete inventory work-off programs.
Manage customer-facing issues, including complaints related to Graphic Technicians or product quality.
Control overtime by implementing approval processes and efficient vacation scheduling to reduce reliance on external GT coverage.
Oversee equipment asset inventory across all GTCs, manage transfers, and submit capital equipment requests when necessary.
Extensive water-based ink making experience

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 5–7 years
Management: Previous management experience required
