We are seeking a Temporary IT Specialist to support the IT operations of a medical facility and ensuretechnical functionality across our locations. The IT Specialist will be responsible for assisting staff and providers with resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems during this temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities• Provide technical support to employees and providers for software and hardware issues.• Troubleshoot and resolve minor hardware, software, and peripheral equipment problems.• Support implementation and testing of new systems or updates.• Act as a resource for maximizing software use and creating workflow efficiencies.• Monitor system backups and report issues to vendors for resolution.• Manage user access and system permissions based on manager requests.• Maintain accurate documentation for system changes and user updates.• Assist with creating training materials and offering user support as needed.• Coordinate with external vendors to report and follow up on technical issues.• Conduct system audits and contribute to identifying and mitigating IT security risks.• Participate in IT setup during site transitions or project rollouts.Core Competencies• Strong attention to detail• Customer service focus• Self-motivation and initiative• Strong organizational skills• Ability to work both independently and within a team• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
 
Qualifications• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Technical training or hands-on experience in IT operations preferred• At least 2 years of experience with EHR, practice management software, or similar systems is a plus• Basic computer hardware knowledge required• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and security standards desirable• Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is advantageous
 
Physical Requirements• Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs.• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching may be required• Must be able to speak, hear, and comprehend English instructions• Capable of distinguishing color differences and passing a color vision screening
 
Work Environment• Office and clinical environments• Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals (e.g., Glutaraldehyde), and biohazards• Use of standard office and IT equipment• Occasional travel to support clinics or projects may be required
