As Kitchen Manager you’ll be the culinary heartbeat—owning food quality, team culture, and cost controls from prep to plate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct day‑to‑day back‑of‑house operations to ensure top‑tier quality and on‑time ticket execution

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor a 15‑20 person culinary team, building bench strength for future openings

  • Partner with the Executive Chef to launch seasonal menu updates and limited‑time features

  • Track inventory, vendor ordering, and recipe costing to hit targeted food‑cost percentages

  • Champion a spotless, organized kitchen that exceeds health‑department standards

  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience and resolve service issues in real time

  • Lead engaging pre‑shift meetings that educate, motivate, and celebrate team wins

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in a high‑volume, chef‑driven kitchen leadership role (Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, CDC, etc.)

  • Proven ability to coach diverse teams, uphold standards, and cultivate a positive workplace culture

  • Solid command of P&L levers—inventory, waste, labor scheduling, and recipe costing

  • Current ServSafe Manager or ability to obtain within 30 days

  • Passion for Italian cuisine, scratch cooking, and continuous improvement

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full‑time, salaried position; five shifts per week with two consecutive days off

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
