The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in our business, overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services. They are responsible for managing vendor relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and implementing strategies to improve supply chain performance. The Supply Chain Manager collaborates with internal teams, franchisees, and suppliers to drive cost savings, maintain product quality, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the organization's supply chain strategy, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and process efficiencies within the supply chain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and optimize procurement strategies.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate supply chain performance.
Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements and drive cost savings.
Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews, fostering strong partnerships and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with vendors to improve lead times, product quality, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Oversee inventory planning and management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing holding costs and stockouts.
Implement inventory control systems and processes to ensure accuracy, visibility, and timely replenishment.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan promotions, and manage product lifecycle transitions.
Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for inventory optimization and reduction of waste.
Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
Optimize transportation routes, carrier selection, and freight costs to minimize transportation expenses.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation and logistics.
Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to improve distribution network efficiency and customer service levels.
Establish and maintain quality standards and processes for incoming materials, products, and packaging.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to supply chain quality and compliance.
Provide guidance and support to franchisees and internal stakeholders regarding supply chain processes, policies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the restaurant or franchising industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
Experience in vendor management, negotiation, and contract management.
Proficiency in supply chain planning and optimization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role primarily works in an office environment.
The role may require occasional travel to vendor sites, distribution centers, or
franchise locations.
Physical Demands:
The position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting.
Occasional travel may involve standing, walking, and moving around during site
visits or supplier meetings.
The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
