Our client, a logistics company based in Oakville is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in business development, project management, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Cold calling and sales prospecting for new businesses
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective customer relationship management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing business proposals and project updates.
  • Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a staffing industry and a managerial role.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and team members alike.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position

Pay: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Commission pay

Schedule: Monday to Friday
