Our client, a prestigious Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate Attorney to join their high-performing Energy and Infrastructure Tax Practice in San Francisco, Chicago, or Washington, DC. This position offers the opportunity to work with a globally integrated team on high-impact transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
3–6 years of substantive transactional tax experience at a major law firm.
Experience handling the tax aspects of transactions related to infrastructure and renewable and conventional energy projects.
Familiarity with the financing of renewable energy assets and the monetization of tax credits.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and work effectively with cross-functional deal teams.
A client-service mindset, collaborative attitude, and eagerness to take on increasing responsibility.
Provide strategic counsel on the financing of renewable energy assets and monetization of tax credits.
Advise on the tax aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions, drafting and negotiating related documents.
Work closely across the practice with attorneys specializing in M&A, real estate, and infrastructure matters to deliver integrated solutions for clients navigating the energy transition market.
Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to a high-performance, team-oriented practice culture.
