Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Real Estate Practice Group in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional real estate attorney looking to take the next step in their career while working on sophisticated matters in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
  • 2+ years of substantive experience in real estate transactions at a law firm of comparable rank.
  • Demonstrated experience handling purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements.
  • Familiarity working with acquisitionsdispositionsfinancingleasing, and development transactions involving commercial real estate assets.
  • Joint venture and borrower-side financing experience are preferred.
  • Ability to navigate complex transactions efficiently, contribute effectively to a team, and cultivate meaningful client relationships.
  • Soft Skills: Superb research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively navigate complex subject matter. The ideal candidate is ambitious and eager to develop the firm's growing national practice.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitionsdispositions, financings, developments, and leasing.
  • Draft and negotiate key transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements.
  • Provide support on joint ventures and borrower-side financing transactions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support complex deal structures.
  • Contribute to national business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Includes an annual salary range of $220,000–$310,000, depending on experience and market factors, in addition to eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
