TECHNOLOGY TRANSACTIONS & PRIVACY ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – MID-LEVEL

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Technology Transactions & Privacy Practice Group in Dallas. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex, high-impact matters involving emerging technologies, data privacy, and intellectual property across a variety of industries.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.
4+ years of substantive experience in technology transactions and/or privacy law.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and intellectual property agreements.
Familiarity with product development and commercialization issues, including for emerging and startup companies.
Strong background in one or more of the following subject areas:
- Enterprise software, cloud services, AI, blockchain, fintech, payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, interactive entertainment, and/or digital content.
Experience supporting M&A and financing transactions with respect to IP and tech-related risks.
Prior experience at an AmLaw 50 firm required.
Strong communication, drafting, and analytical skills with a team-oriented and client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on complex intellectual property, data use, privacy, and emerging technology issues.
Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial and technology-focused agreements, including licensing, development, distribution, cloud/SaaS, outsourcing, and data sharing contracts.
Support M&A and venture capital transactions with due diligence and counseling on tech-related matters.
Counsel startup and emerging growth companies on product launches, development strategies, and compliance.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate, regulatory, and litigation practices to deliver seamless client service.
Stay current on rapidly evolving technology laws and industry best practices to provide innovative legal solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Includes an expected annual salary range of $310,000 to $390,000, commensurate with experience.
Eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
