Job Summary: Communicate, promote, and support our client's Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) & Sensor/Connectivity Product Solutions, Capabilities, and Services to our client's employees and customers. Support Sales Funnel, providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical and commercial support of applications, both remotely and on-site having thorough knowledge of automation products and applications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Participate in the specification, quoting, implementation, and deployment of the company’s AMR robotics product offering. 
  • Participate in the specification, quoting, implementation, and post-sales support of company’s Sensor/Connectivity/IoT product offering. 
  • Serve as primary liaison between assigned vendors and company sales team, providing product support and strategic alignment to drive mutual growth and market penetration. 
  • Assists in directing sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. 
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives and details project scope for creation of project quotes and acceptance criteria.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals, then supporting those projects to their successful conclusion.
  • Work within budgetary and timeline constraints.
  •  Assists other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications and provides on-site start-up assistance to customers.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Create bill of materials for projects in Excel and price jobs for customer quotations through P21, enter quotes, orders, and production orders to process through shop.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Become a MiR certified trainer and conduct training sessions as needed. 
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical Aptitude is an advantage.
  • Skilled with AutoCAD & SolidWorks drafting packages.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with colleagues. 

Education and Experience:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required. 
  • 1+ years of industry experience is preferred.
  • Engineering degree not necessary but desired. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
