The Entry-Level Inside Sales Representative drives sales of agricultural parts and equipment by engaging with customers through phone, email, and virtual platforms. This role focuses on building relationships, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to support farmers, agricultural businesses, and other clients in the agricultural industry. The representative works to meet sales goals while learning product knowledge and sales techniques in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing information on agricultural parts, equipment, and pricing.

  • Processes customer orders accurately, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery of agricultural parts.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.

  • Assists customers in selecting the appropriate parts and solutions to meet their agricultural equipment needs.

  • Learns and communicates detailed product knowledge about agricultural parts, including compatibility, specifications, and applications.

  • Collaborates with warehouse, logistics, and technical teams to resolve customer issues, such as order discrepancies or delivery delays.

  • Follows up on leads and inquiries to convert prospects into customers and grow sales opportunities.

  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.

  • Meets or exceeds sales targets and performance metrics as set by the sales manager.

  • Provides input on customer needs, market trends, and product demand to support inventory and sales strategies.

  • Stays informed on agricultural industry trends, equipment advancements, and competitor offerings through training and self-study.

  • Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and sales initiatives to develop skills and contribute to team goals.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
