We are looking for a Material Inventory Coordinator! Are you motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with a passion for thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments? In this role, you will collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and shipping/receiving teams to ensure the timely flow and staging of materials, meeting changing delivery requirements. 

Duties:

Including but not limited to:

·        Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments.

·        Review production orders and work with department supervisors and MRP to identify material requirements and track overdue materials.

·        Requisition materials, establish sequential delivery dates, and assist with purchase and production orders for sub-contracted processes.

·        Maintain inventory accuracy using SAP and ProClarity, ensuring materials are rotated according to FIFO inventory management.

·        Conduct inventory cycle counts with Operations Managers and MRP to verify and adjust inventory data.

·        Monitor and control the movement of materials, ensuring conformance to specifications.

·        Manage scrap material removal and in-plant material transfers to meet production schedules.

·        Communicate effectively with supervisors, operations managers, and MRP to address inventory shortages and exceptions.

·        Uphold quality, EHS policies, and support 5S program initiatives.

Qualifications:

·        Associate’s degree or 3-4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·        Experience in material inventory control preferred.

·        Strong planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

·        Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and shipping documents.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SAP preferred.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
