We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical expertise. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and facility systems, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
Duties:Including but not limited to:
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and facility equipment including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems, and power distribution.• Diagnose and repair machinery such as CNCs, PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other automation systems.• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.• Operate and maintain fabrication and diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, welders, cutting torches, etc.).• Follow safety procedures and standards including LOTO, OSHA, NFPA, and local codes.• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.• Use CMMS to track and document maintenance work, parts usage, and equipment status.• Maintain and repair physical structures including walls, partitions, fencing, walkways, and grounds.• Operate material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.) and obtain necessary certifications.• Coordinate with and inspect work of 3rd-party contractors for safety and quality compliance.• Respond quickly to breakdowns, emergency repairs, and maintenance requests.• Assist with snow/ice removal and minor repairs to related equipment in winter months.• Support 5S, safety, environmental, and quality initiatives across the facility.• Serve as a trainer for safety protocols and standard operating procedures.• Be available for flexible work hours including overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel between locations (e.g., Omaha and Harlan).• Participate in safety committees and continuous improvement efforts.• Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field is a plus.• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems (110–480V), PLCs, CNC equipment, and automated machinery.• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.• Familiarity with robotics and automated production systems preferred.• Ability to recalibrate and align machines to original specs after crashes or during PMs.• Competent in welding, fabrication, and machining (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.).• Must possess or be able to obtain EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling.• Must pass internal forklift and overhead crane certification program.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas in alignment with 5S principles.• Demonstrate high attention to detail, adaptability, and strong work ethic.• Follow all safety protocols including arc flash and proper PPE use.• Uphold company values and maintain professional conduct.• May be required to work off-hours and overtime based on operational needs.
Senior Maintenance Technician (if applicable):
Senior Technicians are expected to demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and system integration expertise. They serve as mentors and technical advisors to other technicians and are proficient in electrical controls programming and more complex system repairs.
Physical Demands:
