Commercial Account Executive - Oshawa - IN OFFICE FOR TRAINING THEN REMOTE

OUR CLIENT is hiring a Commercial Producer to join their Sales Team. The candidate will be responsible for achieving new business growth targets, building strong client relationships, retaining and servicing clients. This position will contribute to our overall Commercial Lines and Personal Lines VIP growth strategy.
 
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the overall generation of your book of business including a strong prospect pipeline
• Build client relationships with ability to identify their needs and mitigate risks
• Accountable to track personal progress against company sales plans for new business, renewals & cross sell opportunities
• In collaboration with the President, provide a strategic overview of the growth initiatives for your business
• Communicate with all key stakeholders to ensure they remain fully informed of all significant sales issues
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service for all aspects of the policy lifecycle, including inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, quotes, policy changes, transfer, claims, and billing supports
• Support, mentor and engage with the commercial account team assigned to assist on your book of business
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success
• Continuously improve your technical and market knowledge through ongoing training & networking
• Represent the Company professionally in the marketplace and build your personal network
 
Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years commercial insurance or sales experience
• R.I.B.O designation
• Client development/relationship management experience in Commercial Lines
• Strong sales background with demonstrated ability to outperform targets
• University degree desired
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and effective problem solving skills
• Ability to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC are an asset

  Commission split is 60% new business, 35% renewal, as book of business grows, % at renewal goes up to max of 45%  
  Producer will own 50% of book after vesting period
