About the Role

Our Award-Winning Client, a leader in the manufacturing and production industry with national recognition and numerous accolades, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for their Cleveland, Ohio location. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and strategically developing the market within the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales Growth:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to surpass sales objectives for containers, ground-level offices, modular structures, and value-added products.
  • Dedicate time to outbound prospecting (40%), inbound inquiry conversion (30%), and account development, including in-person visits.
  • Identify high-potential industries, markets, and clients to target for new business opportunities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and convert leads into successful transactions by offering turnkey solutions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build lasting relationships with clients through regular communication, site visits, and exceptional service.
  • Understand client needs, recommend tailored solutions, and address concerns promptly.
  • Utilize the SalesForce CRM to manage customer relationships and track performance.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research to uncover opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
  • Provide actionable insights to management based on market and customer feedback.

Quoting and Pricing:

  • Use a consultative selling approach to maximize pricing and lease rates.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and finalize agreements that achieve beneficial outcomes for all parties.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in CRM tools.
  • Provide management with regular updates on sales performance, market insights, and competitor trends.

Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with operations, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Support colleagues as needed to achieve team goals.

Education and Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 1 year of outbound prospecting experience or tenure with our client.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and virtual platforms like Zoom and Teams.
  • Ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits with minimal overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-volume, transactional sales cycle.
  • Familiarity with leasing and consultative selling approaches.
