Ultrasonographer/Vascular Sonographer

Our client, a respected healthcare organization in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a dedicated Ultra sonographer / Vascular Sonographer to join their Imaging Services team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and vascular sonography procedures under the guidance of physicians/providers.
• Ensure imaging procedures comply with standards of practice and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound/vascular imaging equipment effectively.
• Accurately document and report findings.

Must-Haves:

Education:

• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound/Sonography program or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

• ARDMS and RVT Registered (or ARDMS-eligible if a new graduate).
• Must pass a specialty exam (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN) and physics exam within one year of hire.
• RVT exam must be completed within 18 months of hire.
• NM License to practice as a Sonographer.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Haves:

• 2–3 years of sonography experience.
• Previous hospital-based sonography experience.
