Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare services, is seeking an experienced Echocardiograph Technologist to join their team in Eureka, California. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures according to department standards across all patient demographics: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
  • Act as a clinical and technical resource for less experienced sonographers, providing guidance and support.
  • Maintain high-quality standards through active participation in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
  • Serve as a dedicated customer service representative, fostering positive interactions with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager and the Department Director to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited program in cardiac echocardiography approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or equivalent training through self-study or on-the-job experience.
  • Current National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or equivalent certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

  • Advanced proficiency in cardiac imaging and diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Strong understanding of quality control practices and continuous improvement initiatives in a clinical setting.
