Senior Technical Architect – Information Technology

Our Award-Winning Client, recognized nationally for their excellence and innovation in healthcare services, is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join their Information Technology team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a supportive, innovative environment that drives positive change in people’s lives.

This position is remote for the most part, requiring occasional on-site presence. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and implement integration solutions for identity products, including custom workflows and roles in SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Research, design, and deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports while troubleshooting and resolving any related issues.
  • Provide technical support for Identity Services staff and users, serving as a subject matter expert across applications.
  • Develop and execute test plans for intricate unit and system tests, ensuring robust software solutions.
  • Install and maintain in-house and vendor updates, adhering to established change control standards.
  • Lead meetings to collect business objectives, evaluate solutions, and present recommendations.
  • Maintain system performance, scalability, and stability of Identity Services applications while diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
  • Mentor and train team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and learning.
  • Work with credentialing and physician systems to create seamless custom integrations.
  • Manage access certification campaigns in collaboration with application teams and auditors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience as a SailPoint IIQ product owner or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java development for enterprise-level solutions.
  • Expertise in Unix and Windows server environments, directory services, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry operations and information security practices.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise administration in Azure/Office 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of SSO integrations, metrics dashboarding, and database/firewall management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to mentor and guide peers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare-related information security role.
  • Advanced understanding of credentialing systems and workflow optimization.
  • Proficiency in developing scalable web applications using frameworks such as Django (Node.js experience is a plus).
