Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare services, is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join their dedicated team in Petaluma, California. This role is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a culture of whole-person, patient-focused care.

About the Role

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic procedures as ordered by staff physicians or Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs) with minimal supervision. This role reports directly to the Manager of Imaging Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures to ensure accurate and timely imaging.
• Maintain compliance with established safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, LIPs, and the imaging team to deliver excellent patient care.
• Uphold patient privacy and ensure a respectful, supportive environment for individuals undergoing procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Sonography or accredited healthcare service program.
• National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting.
