The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for delivering superior client service and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with personal insurance clients. This individual will manage a personal lines portfolio by providing knowledgeable advice, proactive solutions, and prompt, professional service.

Manage and retain a personal lines book of business by providing outstanding customer service and proactive client communication
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners
Respond promptly to client inquiries and claims, providing claims counselling and following internal claims procedures
Review and process policy renewals, ensuring accuracy, appropriate coverage, and competitive premiums; remarket accounts as necessary
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines by attending meetings, webinars, and training sessions
Encourage clients to explore additional coverage options such as commercial or financial services
Accurately update and maintain client records in the EPIC management system, following internal procedures and documentation standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and insurers to ensure service excellence and reduce the risk of E&O exposure
Adhere to all company policies, binding authority limits, and compliance requirements
RIBO license required
Minimum 2 years of personal lines customer service experience in a brokerage environment
Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, underwriting requirements, and market trends
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficient with EPIC or other insurance management systems
