About the Role

We are seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Barrie office. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a profitable book of commercial business, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and service an assigned book of commercial business in accordance with company standards and goals

  • Prepare proposals for renewals and new business opportunities

  • Respond promptly to client and underwriter inquiries by phone and email

  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Service Managers on negotiations with insurers for renewals, changes, and new business

  • Review and verify policy documents, endorsements, and wording for accuracy and completeness

  • Create and manage abeyances and follow-ups for outstanding items

  • Market renewals and new business as needed

  • Prepare invoices, monitor receivables, and assist with monthly reporting (e.g., Bordeaux)

  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve efficiency

  • Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of Commercial Insurance experience

  • RIBO License required; professional designations (e.g., CAIB, CIP, CRM) are an asset

  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance markets and policy wordings

  • Experience in Construction Insurance is a strong asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with EPIC is an asset

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to excellence
