Project Engineer – Mechanical

Job Summary (Responsibilities—Rearranged for Variety)

  • Lead various engineering projects from scope development through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet regulatory standards.

  • Provide hydraulic and mechanical design expertise, creating specifications, requisitions, and work orders for new and upgraded equipment installations.

  • Analyze proposals from suppliers, perform design calculations, and assist in equipment selection while ensuring compliance with Award-Winning Client's quality and regulatory standards.

  • Supervise installation, startup, and troubleshooting of both new and existing machinery, providing direction to labor teams and contractors.

  • Collaborate with plant maintenance teams to address ongoing reliability issues, troubleshoot systems, and develop solutions for equipment improvements.

  • Coordinate training and develop equipment documentation to support ongoing maintenance and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor project schedules and progress, communicating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Candidate Profile (Rearranged)

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

  • PE License or Engineer-In-Training (EIT/EI) designation preferred.
