Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a dynamic Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery team in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree and a current PA-C license in the state of New Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated surgical team to provide high-quality care in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care
• Perform patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Provide bedside procedures and inpatient care support
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the broader healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation

Schedule & Shift Details

• Full-time schedule
• Shift expectations and on-call details to be confirmed upon interview

Qualifications – Required

• Master’s degree or higher
• Valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) license in New Mexico (NM)
• Previous experience in cardiovascular and/or cardiothoracic surgery preferred
