POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

Our client, a leading law firm with a commitment to excellence and innovation, is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to drive the optimization of legal practice and technology workflows. This role is essential for enhancing process efficiency, reducing risk, gathering data, and implementing automation and AI solutions within practice groups. The Process Improvement Analyst will work closely with the Legal Project Management (LPM) team and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement across the firm.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • ·       Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • ·       Lead the design, development, and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • ·       Conduct risk analysis to identify areas for improvement and mitigation strategies.
  • ·       Collect and consolidate feedback from stakeholders, design surveys, and implement changes based on needs assessments.
  • ·       Collaborate with the Knowledge & Innovation team to analyze data and support informed decision-making.
  • ·       Document processes and create training materials on best practices.
  • ·       Work closely with the Pricing and LPM teams to enhance workflows and operations for specific clients and matters.
  • ·       Lead workshops and act as a liaison between teams to define and support process changes, ensuring internal stakeholder buy-in.
  • ·       Assist in developing and executing change management strategies for successful adoption of new processes.
  • ·       Provide onboarding and ongoing training to new and existing team members.
  • ·       Monitor the impact of changes and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
  • ·       Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance.
  • ·       Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on process improvement initiatives, achievements, and challenges.
  • ·       Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with expertise in optimizing complex processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:5+ years of experience in the legal industry in change management, process improvement, or project management roles.
  • Certifications & Knowledge:Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as ITIL, PMBOK, BPMN, or similar frameworks.
  •  

Preferred Qualifications & Education:

  • Power BI Certification and experience in data visualization.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HighQ and Smartsheet.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

·       Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

·       Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

·       Standard hours of work: Monday through Friday. Some late nights and weekends may be required.

·       Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.

·       Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
